The reason why people didn’t use their talents on mid- century it was because society were to focus on separate themselves in social classes, Black people were trying very hard to integrate themselves in the white society that they forget many times about what they were good at. And West Indian Archie was an example of how talent and intelligence coming from Black or other group of people wasn’t appreciate for the society. Malcom himself was another example, when he was so good at school that he wanted to became a lawyer, society wouldn’t accept them because of who are them base on superficial things.
